I have used this company for the last six years. They are great. I have many trees, some pretty big. Their pricing is fair. Their work excellent, and they go out of their way to make sure you are happy. Plus much of their staff are long-timers. Many of the guys who showed up here today have been here before.

Gilbert Tree Trimmers did a fantastic job. The crew arrived timely, were courteous, took time to explain how the trees were going to be trimmed and did the job exactly as expected. All employees were very professional and I do not hesitate to recommend their services.

We highly recommend Dan and Gilbert Tree Trimmers. From the initial visit with Dan, he and his team were very professional and polite. They did a thorough job of removing 4 large trees, along with cleaning up afterwards as promised. We would definitely use them again. We plan on having them trim and maintain our palm trees as needed in the future.

I bought my very first house and had to handle all the maintenance that comes with it. I have 2 small cacti and a 25ft Mesquite tree in my front yard with a root going toward the house. Worried that this root could crack my foundation I researched people that could help. Enter Dan! He came by for an estimate and provided great info and his recommendations. I felt informed without being talked down to and the price was reasonable. A few days later his crew came out and completed all the work in a timely manner. I'll definitely be reaching out to them for tree trimming and touch ups!

Great service! We talked to Dan, the owner and a certified arborist, on Tuesday about removing a 35' Saguaro cactus. It was very close to our home. Dan explained the massive weight of a Saguaro that big and scheduled removal for the upcoming Friday. The crew showed up on time. They quickly and professionally removed the hazardous cactus. I needed two large sissoo trees removed from my yard because they were planted too close to the pool and equipment. Dan, the owner, came out right away and gave me a free estimate and a detailed explanation of the procedures his crew would use to remove them. On the day of removal, the crew was ahead of schedule but called me in advance to see if they could come earlier. They kept me updated of how things were going and asked if I had any concerns along the way. They were careful when taking the limbs down to not cause any damage to the trees' surroundings. They were done in about 3 hours and did a nice job cleaning up after themselves. I would highly recommend Gilbert Tree Trimmers for any tree removal or maintenance services.

Needed 2 large lyseloma trees removed from my narrow side yard as the umbrellas were impinging on my and my neighbor's roof. Joe came out to make the estimate. He arrived as promised and was very courteous. Prior to his visit I had interviewed 2 other tree trim/removal companies. Gilbert Tree Trimmers beat the pricing of both other companies by a lot and I never told them, nor did they ask, what the other quotes were. All cleanup was also included! Plus they did a fabulous job. They were recommended to me by a friend and by posting this review, hope I can help someone else who needs their services. I won't hesitate to recommend them to anyone needing tree services!

Wow. All I can say is the whole process with Gilbert Tree Trimmers was nothing short of amazing. After getting several estimates to remove a 20 year old diseased Jacaranda I settled on Gilbert Tree Trimmers. Dan came out quickly and gave me an honest and fair estimate, that was well within the others price. They were able to schedule it quickly. The two young men who took down the tree showed up on time and got right to work. They were fast, but safe and efficient. I like that they wore all the safety gear as tree removal can be dangerous work. When they finished, they cleaned up the property, and put everything in order. I am totally satisfied with Gilbert Tree Trimmers, they went above and beyond my expectations. Thank you Dan and your crew!!

I was impressed with this company from the start. Dan was informative, professional and polite. He took time to answer all my questions and listen to what my wishes were for new tree planting.Being a certified arborist with the ISA also gave me confidence he had the knowledge to back up his recommendations. I have had 2 other companies come out for estimates and had nowhere near this experience! The estimate also came in almost $100 less than the competitors! Kudos to you guys!

From our first meeting with Dan to having our trees pruned and totally thinned out, we have been impressed with the work and the people from this company. We will certainly recommend this company to our friends and neighbors and have them back on a regular basis to keep our trees healthy and looking good.

We had 8 trees that had never had professional pruning. Landscapers had kept the trees off of the ground and off of the house. The front yard trees were an overgrown eyesore. We called and got a free estimate from Dan Riggs who spent some time going over the details of what we wanted done and what he was offering as the final result. The price he quoted was reasonable and his quote was detailed. We told him to schedule as soon as practicable. He gave us a window when his team would arrive, also showed us pictures of the team members, and his team arrived within the 30 minute schedule window. His trimmers spent a lot of time listening to our preferences and patiently performing to various ad -hoc adjustments here and there. They completed the 8 trees in 3 and 1/2 hour period and cleared the work area of all debris. Our trees look like trees again and we plan to use Gilbert Tree Trimmers again. We highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed!

Excellent service. We had 2 Sumacs, 1 Palo Verde, and 1 Willow tree, 4 Bougainvillea, 2 Yellow Bell, and 2 Purple Sage trimmed today all within 1 hour. Everything was cleaned up and disposed of professionally. Definitely recommend

We recently purchased a home in Tempe with many massive trees 25+years old. We decided to remove 6 pine, 8 palm and a ficus-a huge project and all were either very close to the house or the block walls. After interviewing at least 5 companies in the east valley, we chose to go with Gilbert Tree Trimmers for several reasons. Dan, the owner was extremely courteous and knowledgeable, presented his services/estimate in a very professional manner answering all our questions and concerns with the difficulty of the job. It was very important to have a company with proper equipment, trained/skilled workmen, sufficient insurance/license/bonded and of course with a competitive quote. The job was completed 3 days without any incidents! Jobsite/yard cleaned and would never know the trees were there, stumps ground and debris removed. I am beyond impressed and would recommend this company for any and all your tree trimming and removal. Would give more stars if possible!!

Dan came to the house to access my Sweet Acacia tree in my front yard as there was weather damage over the years. He suggested it was a good idea to remove the tree and he would also provide stump grinding services. He gave me an excellent quote to remove the tree and grind the stump below ground level as well as grind a stump still lingering from a previous tree. The crew (Joe ,Rueben and David) came a few days later and worked very efficiently in extreme heat to do the job. They cleaned up the yard as promised and I no longer have an ugly,diseased tree on display. I would highly recommend them for any tree services.

My husband and I were looking to find a tree service that is local and does great work, and my relatives referred me to Gilbert Tree Trimmers, and said that they did great work on the multiple trees on their property - including some very big ones that were probably 40 feet tall. I called and scheduled an estimate with one of their arborists, and I was very pleased to find out that their owner comes and meets with all of their customers personally. His name was Dan, and he gave us some great recommendations for what needed to be done to structure and thin out our trees, and he also gave us some good suggestions for what trees to plant and in which place in the future - just in case we decide to add more trees to our landscape down the road. I was impressed with their owner's professionalism and knowledge as an arborist, and we felt very comfortable hiring them to work on our property. On the day of the job, their crew leader spoke with me and went over in detail what they were planning on doing with each of our trees before they ever got started; which I was very happy with because it showed that they were concerned about making sure that our trees turned out exactly like we were expecting. We were very happy with their service, and we plan to call them back once each year to work on our trees. Thanks for your great service!

This is the second time we have used this company. We were very pleased the first time and again the second time. The owner is very thorough. He takes pictures of your trees and discusses with you what he thinks should be done. When his trimmers come to your property they again go over what is to be done to confirm what was discussed with the owner. The crew is very professional and friendly. We will definitely use this company over and over again.

Dan was very knowledgeable and helped me decide how to trim my large sumac tree. The crew showed up before the due time which worked for me and they got to work right away. They were very professional and fast. It was an extremely hot day and that didn't seem to slow them down. Very pleased with the tree trimming and clean up. Happy with the price.
